What you’ll do
Oversees and manages all logistics activities and related systems information in a manufacturing environment. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to supply chain services;
inventory control; or critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, shipment of products from place of origin to point of delivery, third-party warehousing, and shipping / receiving activities.
Develops and implements logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximize compliance with customer needs within budget constraints.
Provides financial reporting and reconciliation of inventories. Exhibits thorough understanding of international Letters of Credit and other forms of banking documents and international shipments.
Interacts with vendors and peers in Manufacturing, Sales, and Finance, and Product Development personnel to optimize systems and procedures.
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Main responsibilities :
Daily escalation point between Verifone and repair vendors
Schedule and drive operational meetings with vendors to monitor performance and provide guidance as needed
Attend client-repair review meetings as needed or as requested by Commercial team
Evaluate vendor capacity and velocity for current and future business needs
Monitor vendor’s repair and return SLA performance
Monitor vendor’s ERS SLA performance
Help develop and implement ERS minimum stock program
Work with Quality group on evaluating AFR for all clients
Implement and drive cost saving initiatives
Review and approve costing for all pricing quotes within scope of business (special projects, refurbish initiatives, etc)
Monitor and manage project performance with repair vendor developing requirements and expectations
Develop, manage and distribute repair related reporting as needed
Coordinating work of various functional groups such as Operations, IT, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning / Scheduling, and Finance
Understand and drive customer expectations for priorities
Responsible for Identifying areas of non-conformance and drive remedy plans with vendor
Ensure that quality standards are consistently met with the support of the quality team leading the charge
Provide input of ideas for continual process improvements as well as implementation of new processes
Vendor(s) invoice auditing for the Reverse Logistics
What qualifications will you need to be successful?
Basic requirements :
Strong engineering and reverse logistics background
Basic vendor management skills
Excellent critical thinking skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint
Proficient in AMDCOS
Proficient in SAP Business Objects
Proficient in Tableau
Preferred requirements :
LEAN, Six Sigma, or Project Management Certification
Electronics repair experience
Contract negotiation experience
Experience with international transportation and logistics
Experience with Consumer Electronics or Payment Solutions
Experience with Oracle
Experience with Data Analytics
