We are looking for a First Line Manager to ensure Employee Safety, Product Quality and Line Efficiency while delivering on time Shift Production Plan.
A day in the life of…
- Ensures Production SOPs are flawlessly executed; manufacturing conditions are respected, trouble-shoots and resolves manufacturing deviations
- Plan and allocate labour and plant equipment resources to meet daily supply requirements while managing and resolving short term capacity constraints
- Manages all routine shift maintenance, including ‘juggling’ priorities to free up lines / equipment for maintenance dictated by AMM schedule
- Manage total controllable cost of the Production Department as a mini business
- Develop competencies of his/her team as aligned with Production Manager with proper training include equipment, safety & hygiene
- Coach employees to fulfil and exceed the requirements of the job through Total Performance Management (TPM) approach
- Leading a continuous improvement/employee involvement culture through TPM approach
- Responsible for performance Management, motivation, and development of employees
What will make you successful
Degree in Engineering/Chemical Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 2 years related experience in the manufacturing industry
Able to work on shifts
Good leadership and people management skills
