Why does this job exist and why is it critical??
The Key Account Manager’s KPI and accountabilities are incremental revenues, total contract value for new deals, billable revenue for Mobile, Fixed, IOT, Cloud, Converged Solutions and collections. Account manager is Maxis ambassador and a consultant with key functionalities to establish solid client relationship, enhance engagement, establish account planning, manage a set of client accounts assigned, collaborate with internal teams, manage partners, register opportunities in CRM, ensure healthy funnels, seek supervisor’s advice & share dealsprogress, plan & execute sales initiatives.
Develop and formulate strategic and tactical plans in assigned list of account portfolio. Ensure KPI and goals of the assigned accounts in the portfolio are met.
Build market position in the assigned account by identifying potential business deals and establish, grow and maintaining relationship with existing and new customers.
Develop and formulate retention strategy to minimize churn rate of the portfolio of accounts.
Provide and screen data/information for potential business deals by analyzing market strategy, examining risks and financial accuracy for business decision making.
Protects organization’s value by keeping company information and tender confidential.
Provide excellent service to Company PIC to ensure maximized customer satisfaction.
Assist collection team on customers aging.
Ensure pipeline in CRM are diligently updated – consistently putting new opportunities week on week AND progressing the opportunity sales motion from creation to closing at order receive stage.
Develop comprehensive Account plans for all assigned customers.
Orchestrate communication and collaboration between cross functional Maxis team and customers.
Accountable on driving every opportunity to closure with a close plan.
Working closely with Solution Manager and Identifying new solutions for all assigned customers for sustainable account growth.
Proposal & presentation for deal forum, pricing forum, investment forum & business review
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
Relevant Experience in Solutions selling.
Experience in using CRM.
Excellent sales performance track record.
Telco or ICT experience would be an added advantage.
Personal traits: Positive, Passionate, Collaborative, Ability to perform under pressure in a challenging environment and A team player.
